Walmart (WMT) is introducing two new experiences on the gaming platform Roblox that will allow customers to explore the metaverse. The action follows Walmart’s filing of seven trademark applications at the end of December, which revealed its intentions to produce and market virtual items in the metaverse. Gaming Experiences In a statement released Monday, WalmWalmart Metaverseart said it had developed two experiences, one dubbed Walmart Land and the other Walmart’s Universe of Play. Walmart Land would include a virtual store, and Universe of Play offers a variety of toy worlds and games.
