A day after making an offer to buy 100% of Twitter, Elon Musk spoke at the TED 2022 conference in Vancouver, British Columbia, and explained what changes he would like to implement on the social media platform if he takes over the company. Among the various suggestions, Elon Musk told curator Chris Anderson that he would consider modifying the platform’s approach to controversial and problematic content, including tweets by crypto scam bots. Musk said, “A top priority I would have is eliminating the spam and scam bots and the bot armies that are on Twitter,” . Musk explained that scam bots are extremely rampant on the microblogging site, and used an interesting analogy to prove his point. “They make the product much worse.
