The creators behind the popular NFT collection Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) confirmed that their much-anticipated “otherwise” metaverse project will launch on April 30th at 12 PM ET. The company bought the rights to the last two in the same month. According to a document presentation from the creators, whose authenticity has not been confirmed or denied by the company, the metaverse will focus on MetaRPG, a role-playing game that combines NFTs from previously launched collections. Holders of the NFTs will be then able to use them as game characters. The team will also release an SDK that allows content creators to design their own NFTs. In addition, the Otherside Meta project will also supposedly consist of 200,000 land parcels that will only be purchasable with BAYC’s native ecosystem coin, APE.
