Bitcoin miner BitNile removes 6.5K rigs from Texas site formerly owned by Compute North

Bitcoin ( BTC-USD ) miner BitNile, owned by Ault Alliance ( NYSE: AULT ), is pulling out 6,572 mining rigs from the Wolf Hollow hosting facility in Texas that was formerly owned by now-bankrupt Compute North . About one month before Compute North filed for bankruptcy protection in September 2022, BitNile entered into a hosting deal with Compute North to secure 20 megawatts of power. "BitNile determined that the site is no longer economically viable," Ault ( AULT ) said in a statement, "and therefore began making weekly shipments to move the equipment to a safe and secure location for future deployment." On Thursday, Ecoark to acquire metaverse platform BitNile.com from Ault Alliance .
