American Express launches its first crypto rewards credit card - CoinDesk

American Express (NYSE:AXP), in partnership with cryptocurrency wealth management platform and digital wallet provider Abra, is rolling out its first crypto-linked credit card to let U.S. users earn back crypto on any purchase, the company said Friday at Consensus 2022, as reported by CoinDesk. The card giant's move comes despite CEO Stephen Squeri's remarks last year saying his company wasn't planning to offer such a product "anytime soon." Cardholders of the so-called Abra Crypto Card can choose from over 100 cryptos within the Abra platform.
