Binance.US Receives Its Money Transmitter License In Nevada

Binance US has expanded its reach into Nevada by obtaining a money transmitter license to do its business. The Nevada Department of Business and Industry’s Financial Institutions Division issued permission to the US branch of the international bitcoin exchange. Brian Shroder, Chief Executive Officer of Finance.US, stated in the official blog. “We continue to take the necessary steps to ensure we are operationally compliant across the United States, our customers’ assets are secure, and our platform is safe and transparent.” Shroder added that the exchange’s decision to apply for a Nevada business license supports its continuous efforts to improve compliance. Nevada – Binance US’s Seventh Jurisdiction Nevada is the seventh state to grant the exchange a money transmitter license in 2022. Other jurisdictions are West Virginia, Connecticut, Wyoming, Rhode Island, Idaho, and Puerto Rico. Currently operating in 46 states and Puerto Rico, Binance US offers some of the lowest market fees for listing more than 120 tokens.
