FTX's ( FTT-USD ) unit FTX Japan and cryptocurrency exchange Liquid Japan are working on resuming withdrawals through Liquid Japan's website in February. FTX Japan users will be able to check their balance and withdraw funds through Liquid Japan, which FTX acquired earlier this year , according to a timeline announced by Liquid in a blog post. FTX Japan customers will be able to open Liquid Japan accounts in mid-January. They can then transfer assets from FTX Japan to Liquid Japan and withdraw funds by mid-February. "Please note that the timeline may change depending on the progress of the external security audit," the blog post cautioned. Earlier, FTX Japan reportedly aimed to resume customer withdrawals by the end of 2022 . After the implosion of beleaguered crypto exchange FTX, its Japanese unit's operations were suspended by the country's financial regulator last month .
