The first hospital in the metaverse will open its doors in October, according to the UAE. Thumbay Group will be in charge of running the medical metaverse. Thumbay, a healthcare company, has already begun working on the project. Patients can use avatars to visit this fully functional virtual hospital. They can communicate with doctors through avatars as well. The president and founder of Thumbay Group, Dr. Thumbay Moideen, said that the Group is already working on it and anticipates launching it before the end of this year, around October. It will be a full-fledged virtual hospital where patients can visit the doctor wearing an avatar. We will enable patients to view what the hospital appears to be in the metaverse if necessary to accommodate medical tourism. The First Medical Metaverse In The World In January, the UAE Ministry of Health and Community Protection inaugurated the first customer service center using metaverse technologies in Dubai (MOHAP). Additionally, this facility easily accommodates clients’ needs in 3D environments while giving them a sensory experience that is participatory and fully immersed in digital technology. Patients can log into Meta Health immediately and chat with a live agent at the Customer Satisfaction Center.
