The world’s largest peer-to-peer marketplace for NFTs, OpenSea, has teamed with the multinational music and entertainment firm Warner Music Group. Select WMG artists would have a platform to expand and strengthen their fan bases on Web3. Web3 Opportunities for Artists WMG artists would gain early access to OpenSea’s new drops offering, enhanced discoverability, personalized narrative on tailored landing pages, and industry-leading safety and security measures as part of the agreement. Additionally, this would enable the OpenSea team to provide devoted assistance and best practices, assisting WMG artists in establishing new Web3 communities and introducing current fan groups to new modes of interaction and innovation fueled by NFTs. A dedicated drop page for WMG artists’ limited-edition projects would also be available, giving fans additional ways to interact with music and artists. With Warner Records UK and Web3 startup Probably Nothing, the first music collection NFTs is now being developed.
