Karate Combat, a well-known full-contact martial arts league, declared its choice to create a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) to hand over control to participants and fans. The sports league informed through a tweet on August 28 that Karate Combat would announce the biggest giveaway in the history of sports on September 28. Karate Combat DAO’s Debut The DAO for Karate Combat will debut in December 2022 as part of a three-year sponsorship agreement with Hedera’s HBAR Foundation. The league’s budget, resource allocation, supplier choice, marketing plan, and rule amendments are just a few of the decisions that Karate Combat’s internal governance token holders can vote on.
