Binance halted British pound deposit and withdrawal services for new users on Tuesday, and will suspend these services for all users on May 22. "Paysafe, our fiat partner that provides GBP deposit and withdrawal services via bank transfers and card to Binance users, advised us that they will no longer be able to provide these services from May 22," a Binance spokesperson told Seeking Alpha. "Binance will ensure that affected users are still able to access their GBP balances. The spokesperson clarified that the suspension affects less than 1% of Binance users, but the exchange is working to find an alternative solution for these users. "In the meantime, all methods of depositing and withdrawing other fiat currencies as well as buying and selling crypto on Binance remain unaffected," said the spokesperson. Last month, Binance had temporarily suspended U.S. dollar bank transfers .
