For an undisclosed sum, the 40-year-old artist has signed a multi-year contract with OneOf. Pitbull will evangelize OneOf first, with plans to create his own NFTs later. The news comes as several artists, including Pitbull, have assembled in Miami, Florida, for a OneOf World concert. NFTs are one-of-a-kind assets that are stored and traded on a blockchain. They are unchangeable, limited, and publicly verifiable. Artists in the music industry can sell restricted digital content to their followers who pay with cryptocurrency.
