OpenSea Suffers Data Breach, Newsletter Subscribers Impacted

OpenSea, one of the largest NFT marketplaces, has said that it has suffered a data breach. The marketplace said that an employee of Customer.io misused their access to download and share customer email addresses with an external party. Customer.io is a platform for managing emails, newsletters, and campaigns. OpenSea Email Data Breach In a blog post published on Thursday, OpenSea said that employees of Customer.io had misused their employee access to download and share email addresses provided by OpenSea users and subscribers to their newsletter with an unauthorized external party.
