DeFi Project Wonderland is Coming to an End

Following a deeply divided community vote, Daniele Sestagalli, co-founder of the Wonderland DeFi project is planning to pull the plug. On January 30, Wonderland co-founder Daniele Sestagalli tweeted that the Avalanche-based reserve money experiment is coming to an end. He then went on to say that the divided community shows we failed. Sestagalli ordered former partner and Wonderland treasury chief Michael Patryn (who goes by the pseudonym ‘0xSifu’) to resign last week, prompting the decision to save or wind down the project. Patryn, who has changed his name several times, was revealed to be the co-founder of the now-defunct Canadian crypto exchange QuadrigaCX on Jan. 27.
