Cardano’s Input Output Global Funded a $4.5 Million Blockchain Hub

Cardano developer Input Output strengthened its partnerships with Stanford University by creating a new research facility. One of the leading Proof-of-Stake (PoS) blockchain developers committed $4.5 million to the new facility. Input Output will offer the funding over three years. Along with Stanford, IOG has established research facilities and joint ventures with the Universities of Edinburgh, Wyoming, Athens, and Tokyo Institute of Technology. Charles Hoskinson, the creator of Cardano, gave $20 million to Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) last year to launch the Hoskinson Center for Formal Mathematics. Stanford University – Hub For Technological Advancement Stanford University in Palo Alto, California, is a hub for technological advancement. In 2018, the university established a Center for Blockchain Research under the direction of two professors with expertise in cryptography, Dan Boneh and David Mazières. Input Output frequently brags about its academic rigor and has worked with numerous universities worldwide. Similar blockchain labs received support from it in 2017 at the University of Edinburgh and the Tokyo Institute of Technology. A $500,000 grant to Stanford University was also made public by Input Output in December to support research into Verifiable Digital Fountains.
