The open-source Korean blockchain, Klaytn, is introducing a gas fee rebate program to enable gaming companies to defray gas costs associated with already-built blockchain games. By offsetting both user gas fees paid by gaming firms through Klaytn’s gas fee delegation function and gas prices incurred by gaming companies’ own Externally Owned Accounts or Contract Accounts, Klaytn’s gas fee rebate scheme would lower barriers to greater Web3 adoption.
