The Leading Privacy Alliance (LPA) was officially launched yesterday in Bogotá. The Leading Privacy Alliance of Web3 seeks to advocate for all Web3 professionals and to increase public understanding of the value of privacy. The LPA was established as a free organization in Switzerland in August 2022 at the initiative of Blockwallet, Twilight Network, and HOPR.net. Leading Privacy Alliance’s Objective The goal of the project is to discover a solution to the problem that everyone operating in the Web3 sector is currently experiencing: how to establish privacy-focused work as an industrial standard. The alliance aims to inform consumers and end users about the significance of privacy rights, not just because they might have something to conceal but because they have the freedom. The Leading Privacy Alliance provides a forum for its members to come together, develop a collective voice that speaks for the whole industry, and share insights and ideas. All three founding members finally realized the need for additional information on privacy and ways to improve data protection by keeping the end-user in mind.
