US Judge Orders Crypto Advocates to Participate in Ooki’s CFTC Defense

Late on Wednesday, a federal judge determined that two groups of cryptocurrency advocates could raise the argument that the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) would not be allowed to assist DAO members through a website assistance bot. The DeFi Education Fund announced the order in a tweet. Update on our brief re: CFTC/Ooki DAO action. Federal judge accepted our amicus brief + ordered CFTC to respond to our motion to reconsider the judge's ruling that the CFTC's service was valid. TL;DR, good news. Next response deadline for CFTC: Nov 7 👀 pic.twitter.com/J5hGPhbqBF — DeFi Education Fund (@fund_defi) October 13, 2022 The post US Judge Orders Crypto Advocates to Participate in Ooki’s CFTC Defense appeared first on Cryptoknowmics-Crypto News and Media Platform.
