FCA’s Crypto AML Compliance Chief Mark Steward to Step Down in 2023

According to a Tuesday announcement from the UK Financial Conduct Authority, Mark Steward would leave his position as executive director of enforcement and market monitoring. Mark, who joined FCA in 2015 from the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC), where he served as Executive Director, will step down from the position in spring 2023. The global search for Mark’s successor will begin shortly.
