Weeks after memeing the International Monetary Fund (IMF), El Salvador’s President Nayib Bukele vocalized about his Twitter games by responding with a yes and said, ‘OK boomers’ to a class of United States officials who progressed towards blocking his bitcoin adoption schemes. The proteus group of Senators consists of Bob Menendez – an American lawyer and politician serving as the senior United States senator from New Jersey and Republican Senators James Risch and Bill Cassidy. These three members put forward a module of legislation called the ‘Accountability for Cryptocurrency in El Salvador (ACES) Act.’ El Salvador President Opposes the Legislation Salvadoran leader – Nayib Bukele seemed to be opposing this piece of legislation. Here’s a further declaration proposed on behalf of the Senators, they claimed, “On the bill being passed, the State Department would have to evaluate El Salvador’s endorsement of bitcoin as ready money/funds.” The State would also have to address the cybersecurity venture, economic balance, and democratic governance in El Salvador.
