Radha Krishna Kumar, the director of the film took to social media to share the news of his film redefining the future. The movie aims to offer its audience the opportunity to create their avatars. Never before in the history of cinema has any film explored Metaverse. However, this is not India’s first time venturing into the metaverse. On the occasion of India’s 73 Republic Day, famous Punjabi singer Daler Mehndi become known as the first Indian artist to perform in the Metaverse. Prabhas and Pooja Hegde starrer Radhe Shyam has garnered many firsts, including being the only film that has crashed internet servers hours after launching on the Metaverse. The hashtag #RadheShyamOnMetaverse began trending after 2 lakh fans entered the Metaverse in the span of 3 minutes of the launch.
