Fidelity has launched a new eight-story virtual building in the metaverse that uses gamification experience to teach investors the basics of investing in exchange-traded funds (ETFs) including its new metaverse-themed fund. According to Fidelity, users can explore the building’s interior, including a dance floor and rooftop sky garden, for users to explore on foot or even using teleport. The new initiative called The Fidelity Stack was built in Decentraland which the brokerage firm described as its “first immersive metaverse experience aimed at offering a new way to learn investing basics.” The new platform represents the latest initiative by Fidelity to “create innovative ways to serve customer needs, especially the next generation of customers, as it becomes the first leading brokerage firm to offer an educational metaverse experience,” it said Thursday in a news release. Fidelity’s metaverse launch comes the same day the company listed its Crypto Industry and Digital Payments ETF (FDIG) and its Metaverse ETF (FMET) after filing for the funds in January. The post Fidelity Opens Financial Educational Centre in the Metaverse first appeared on Cryptoknowmics-Crypto News and Media Platform. The post Fidelity Opens Financial Educational Centre in the Metaverse appeared first on Cryptoknowmics-Crypto News and Media Platform.
