US Federal elections donations can now be made in cryptocurrencies via Crowdpac, a fundraising platform that simplifies donation process and ensures campaigns using their services are in compliance with Federal Election Commission regulations. US’s First Federal Election Donation Platform Now Accepting Crypto According to an official press release, Crowdpac is the first major federal election donation platform to take donations in cryptocurrencies in compliance with Federal Election Commission rules and regulations. The platform specified that when donations in crypto are being made, they will be liquidated and passed on via direct deposit (ACH) or check to ensure that the campaigns receive and can use the donation immediately. “Donors on Crowdpac understand the power of tech and want it to be used to support the politicians and issues they care about. By accepting crypto, Crowdpac is helping its members innovate and break free from big partisan processors that favor the entrenched status quo and do not accept these innovative payment methods,” Crowdpac’s Christopher Tavlarides stated in the press release.
