Gladstein believes Bitcoin has helped citizens in failed economies. As a result, it will be unfair to sideline the benefits when making policies. Content Of The Bitcoin Letter The letter highlighted news sources that cited instances where Bitcoin has been beneficial. Among them is the war between Russia-Ukraine, where citizens adopted crypto payment. The letter noted, “Since Bitcoin is open and anonymous, it promotes financial inclusivity and empowerment. Anyone on the earth can have access to it.” In addition, the proposal noted that the currencies of countries such as Nigeria and Turkey have significantly dropped. However, Bitcoin and stablecoins have provided some stability to such crumbling economies. Furthermore, the letter highlighted the issue of fraud and scams. The proposal stated, “Although there is scam in the sector, the solution is to teach people how to differentiate between them.
