Mastercard Expands to Web3 and NFTs With Sandbox

Popular global payments company Mastercard will be working closely with Sandbox to expand into the Web3 and NFTs marketplace. Mastercard’s Foray into The Web3 and NFTs Space Customers can get what they want more quickly and easily with Mastercard’s entry into the Web3 space. These changes open up a new audience of potential customers for NFT developers. Over the last year, they’ve been working on new ways to make these enhancements. This work enables Web3 and NFTs trade with Immutable X, Candy Digital, and The Sandbox. It also enables NFT trade with Mintable, Spring and Nifty Gateway, and MoonPay. Through this collaboration, they aim to make it possible for clients to use a Mastercard to buy NFTs on their marketplaces. People can also use their Mastercard through their cryptocurrency services. Mastercard is expanding its use of Web3 to the new NFT marketplace at Coinbase. They opened it to all Coinbase users last month. These integrations aim to broaden the appeal of cryptocurrencies and the NFT ecosystem. Mastercard’s Plans Mastercard conducted a survey with over 35K people in 40 countries. According to the survey, 45% had purchased or considered purchasing an NFT. Roughly 50% wanted more flexibility like being able to pay with crypto for everyday purchases or buying an NFT with a credit or debit card.
