Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson expressed his appreciation towards rival crypto project Algorand, calling it ‘excellent.’ Hoskinson Praises Woods’ Contributions at Cardano In a Twitter update, John Woods, former Director of Cardano Architecture at Input Output Global (IOG) announced that he would be joining the Algorand Foundation as Chief Technical Officer (CTO). “I’m thrilled to be taking the next step in my career and joining Algorand Foundation as CTO. I’ve had a wonderful time contributing to building Cardano at IOHK. We are all building the future of finance,” Woods wrote in a statement. Responding to this, Hoskinson stated that he had fun working with Woods as IOG CTO while Duncan Coutts was on paternity leave. He further added that he is excited to see Woods onboarded as Algorand’s CTO and that the development may result in future collaborations between the IOG and Algorand Foundation. “Working with John while he was standing in for Duncan during his paternity leave was fun.
