The New York Yankees and the bitcoin investment business NYDIG announced a multi-year collaboration on July 14 to become the team’s official Bitcoin Payroll Platform. As part of NYDIG’s workplace benefits package, the agreement will enable Yankees employees to convert a percentage of their salary into Bitcoin. This perk is known as the Bitcoin Savings Plan (BSP). As stated by a study, 1 in 3 of these workers would choose to work for a company that enabled them to get payment in Bitcoin over another that offered comparable jobs.
