Revolut Ltd. plans to increase its crypto headcount by 20% over Europe, the UK, and the US in the upcoming six months. It has more than 230 open positions in total across different teams. Making Hires Amid Market Turmoil The London-based fintech, Revolut, has brought fantastic opportunities in the latest turmoil in the digital-asset sector compared with the slower hiring of other tech companies. There are currently 13 crypto-focused roles available at the London-based fintech firm, including roles in compliance and fraud prevention, software engineers, and legal professionals with crypto experience. Revolut has already hired 43 crypto staff this year. More than 230 open positions are present in sum across different teams. The continuous recession in crypto prices has led to layoffs and bankruptcy in the industry. The “crypto winter” forced Coinbase to cut 1,100 jobs in June. Several tech giants are also experiencing hiring slowdowns, including Apple Inc. and Twitter Inc. Revolut Is Ready For Crypto Expansion Revolut is conducting hires to expand its cryptocurrency offerings. The fintech firm announced on Wednesday to add 22 brand-new tokens to its platform, making its total virtual currency count over 80.
