Sphere 3D (NASDAQ:ANY) said Monday that it has mined 12.78 bitcoins (BTC-USD), or $298.7K with a BTC price of $23.3K, in July, a slight increase from 12.19 in June. That's equivalent to an average daily production of 0.41 bitcoin (BTC-USD). And daily production volume remained flat compared with the prior month. Since the beginning of its mining operations in Q1, Sphere 3D (ANY) has mined 68.05 bitcoins (BTC-USD) and held 62.03 BTC as of July 31. Its mining fleet operated at 138.5 BTC/EH efficiency in July, up from 128 in June. The company, though, is facing logistical challenges with U.S. customs in a move that's delaying its final delivery of 4K S19j Pro miners past the expected July delivery dates."Unfortunately, U.S. Customs held the shipments and restricted final delivery pending receipt of documentation from our equipment supplier," Sphere 3D CEO Trompeter explained. The company gained the release of one shipment consisting of 540 miners, which are on their way to Compute North. "We expect to get the other shipments freed soon, but we won't speculate when final delivery will be allowed by U.S. Customs," she added.
