Blockchain platform Tezos has scored a new multi-year sponsorship training kit deal with one of Europe’s most prestigious football clubs Manchester United, the Athletic reported. The deal, which is yet to be officially announced, is set to be worth more than £20 million ($27 million) a year. Manchester United is considered to be the 4th most valuable football club in the world. The recent partnership with Tezos represents Manchester United’s first major incursion into the blockchain space as the club looks to maximize opportunities in Web 3.0, NFT, and Metaverse arenas. Under the partnership, Tezos will have the right to show off its logo on the club’s training kit.
