On September 12, Starbucks, a global network of coffee shops, revealed its Web3 technology, named Starbucks Odyssey, and announced a partnership with the blockchain project Polygon. Starbucks Rewards members and the company’s American workers will have the chance to acquire non-fungible token (NFT) assets through the Web3 platform Starbucks Odyssey. Web3 Experience For A Purpose By implementing Web3 technology, Starbucks will be able to interact with customers of its Starbucks Rewards loyalty program in fascinating new ways, giving them access to unique coffee experiences, special event invites, and artist collaborations. Customers and partners may sign up for the waitlist starting on September 12 for an opportunity to be the first to get the Starbucks Odyssey experience when it launches later this year.
